I grew up in Halifax, and spent ahem-mumble-mumble-ahem years at Duke University watching basket . . . I mean working on my doctoral degree in church history.

Hello Chris! You and I have a common passion: remembering the people whose shoulders we are standing on. Thanks!
One minor problem with your blogsite: the links with colons (:) in them don’t work.
The best tradition that the present-day "postmodern" church still has available is the authority of the inspired inerrant Word of God, the Bible. The urgent task of all peachers and historians is to make that real to all in the present generation.
Great site- It really makes "blogging" look respectable for more than software discussions. Thanks for the great insights, inviting more of us, and reminding us, that the "fellowship of the saints" is not limited to the (more or less) like-minded individuals at after-church coffee time. We stand to gain so much by seeing the lessons the Lord taught others, in other times, so that our own hearing isn”t as badly influenced by the background noise of the culture around us. And thanks, also, for the encouragement in showing that, perhaps, the post-grad theology world isn”t exclusively a vast "Pet (doctrine) Sematary!" Great stuff- thanks!
